Pastor Gary P. Wheeler was born and raised in Houston, Texas. At the age of fifteen his life was changed when he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at Bethel Tabernacle in Houston. Pastor Wheeler graduated from Texas Bible College in 1980 and began a full time evangelistic ministry traveling across the United States conducting revival campaigns. In 1986 he was elected to pastor the congregation in Carthage, TX. After 12 years of pastorate in Carthage, Texas, Pastor Wheeler was elected to be pastor of First United Pentecostal Church of Orange in the fall of 1998. Pastor Wheeler has served the Texas District United Pentecostal Church in various capacities such as Sectional Youth Director, and Sectional Home Missions Director. Pastor Wheeler is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Texas District Bible College in Lufkin Texas. Pastor Gary Wheeler is married to Linda Fuller. They have three sons, Nathaniel, Jonathan, and Hayden. They also have two granddaughters, Brooklyn and Madilyn and a grandson, Jameson to whom they are PaPa and Nana. In his leisure time he enjoys being with his family.
